Crissey Field State Recreation Site is a small coastal state park at Oregon’s southwesternmost point, at the mouth of the Winchuck River, which forms its northern boundary. Administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, the park takes its name from the abandoned Crissey Airport within it. The former runway now serves as a footpath to the beach, linking the site’s aviation past with its present recreational use. Although its southern boundary is variously placed, the park extends a few hundred feet into California, just north of Pelican Beach State Park, making it a distinctive borderland park between two states.
