Nature
Big John Dick Mountain is a summit in Fannin County in northern Georgia, about 11 miles south-southeast of Morganton. Rising to 3,278 feet, it is the 196th tallest mountain in the state. The Benton MacKaye Trail passes near its summit, linking it to one of the region’s long-distance hiking corridors. Although it is not among Georgia’s highest peaks, it is one of the named summits that help define the Blue Ridge landscape in this part of the state.
