Hugh White State Park is a public recreation area in Mississippi about five miles east of Grenada, on the shore of Grenada Lake, a 64,000-acre reservoir. Named for former Mississippi governor Hugh L. White, the park centers on outdoor recreation shaped by the lake, with boating, waterskiing, and fishing as major activities. Its land-based facilities include 158 developed campsites, 12 duplex cabins, a visitors center, and picnic areas. The park also features The Dogwoods, an 18-hole regulation golf course. Together, these amenities make it a multi-use destination for water recreation, overnight stays, and day visits.
