Ski Big Bear is a public ski and snowboard area in Masthope, within Lackawaxen Township in northeastern Pennsylvania, and also serves as an amenity for Masthope Mountain Community property owners, who receive season passes through annual dues. Its most distinctive feature is a top-of-mountain layout, with the lodge, parking, and other facilities above the slopes, so visitors descend first and then ride lifts back up. The mountain has a 650-foot vertical drop, 18 trails and connectors for beginners through experts, freestyle terrain in two areas, and lift service from four double chairlifts and three conveyor lifts.
