Mount Guero is a prominent twelve thousand fifty-eight-foot peak in the rugged West Elk Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains in western Colorado. It rises within the protected West Elk Wilderness of Gunnison National Forest, giving it a notably remote backcountry character. Located about thirteen miles east of Crawford and roughly twenty-four point three miles west-southwest of Crested Butte, near the boundary of Delta and Gunnison counties, it stands among the higher peaks in this part of Colorado. Its prominence reflects how distinctly it rises above the surrounding landscape of the West Elk range.
