Doug's Beach State Park is a 379-acre public recreation area in Washington's Columbia River Gorge, about three miles east of Lyle along Washington State Route 14. It is especially known as one of the Columbia River's premier windsurfing sites, reflecting its strong place in the gorge's outdoor recreation culture. The park became part of the state park system through a land swap with the Washington Department of Natural Resources. Its name honors windsurfer Doug Campbell, whose efforts helped popularize the sport there. In addition to windsurfing, the area is used for picnicking, fishing, and swimming.
