Deep Creek Conservation Area is a protected landscape near Hastings, Florida, on the east side of the St. Johns River along State Road 207. Covering 5,374 acres in St. Johns and Putnam counties, it is managed by the St. Johns River Water Management District. Much of the area consists of floodplain swamp, with some pine flatwoods providing drier habitat. These wetlands support wildlife such as deer, turkey, wading birds, and marsh birds. The conservation area includes public access to its north and west tracts and is used for hiking, biking, and paddlecraft, though it has no boat launch.
