Summit Peak
Nature
Summit Peak is a 13,307-foot mountain in southern Colorado on the Continental Divide and the highest point in the South San Juan Wilderness. Set in a remote part of the San Juan Mountains, it holds both geographic importance because of its place on the divide and prominence within the surrounding wilderness. It is best known as the topographic high point of the South San Juan Wilderness, a distinction that makes it a notable summit in this less-visited part of the state.
