East Cactus Plain Wilderness is a federally protected 14,630-acre desert landscape on the Cactus Plain in western Arizona, about 10 miles north of Bouse. In the Lower Colorado River Valley region south of Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, it is administered by the Bureau of Land Management. It is one of 25 designated wilderness areas in this section of the lower Colorado River corridor. Its importance lies in preserving an undeveloped stretch of desert on the Cactus Plain as protected public land.
