DeGray Lake Resort State Park
Nature
DeGray Lake Resort State Park in the Ouachita Mountains combines a lakeside recreation area with Arkansas's only state park resort, making it both an outdoor destination and a retreat. Centered on DeGray Lake, the park grew from construction of DeGray Dam on the Caddo River beginning in 1963 and was established in 1974, with the resort and golf course added by 1975. Its main attractions include fishing, swimming, boating, camping, biking, hiking, and horseback riding. A major part of its identity is the DeGray Lodge and Convention Center and a public championship-rated golf course, helping make it one of Arkansas's most fully developed park destinations.
