Herb Scott was an auto racing stock car champion and lifelong resident of Wexford whose racing career spanned four decades from 1948 to 1979. He was a 10 time Pittsburgh Racing Association champion, a 3 time Dapper Dan Club of Pittsburgh sports award winner, a member of the Western Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, and a National Dirt Track Hall of Fame inductee in 2008. He achieved a record 520 feature wins.
