Saint John Lutheran Church is possibly the second oldest worshipping Lutheran congregation in Indiana. Known as "Hubbles Church," it was the mother church to many churches in this area. The original log church stood here from 1833 to 1855. A brick church stood west of this site from 1855 to 1905. The frame church building was dedicated in 1905, and Parish Hall was dedicated in 1925.
