Nature
Mount Carter is a 9,848-foot mountain in Montana’s Glacier National Park, in the Livingston Range. At this elevation, it is the park’s tenth tallest peak. Rainbow Glacier lies just south of the mountain, and Weasel Collar Glacier sits immediately to its northeast. Together, the peak and its neighboring glaciers form part of one of the park’s stark alpine landscapes, marked by ice, steep rock, and high ridges.
