The Seventh Armored Division was activated at Camp Polk on 1 March 1942 and served in Northern France, the Rhineland, the Ardennes, Alsace, and Central Europe. It received the Belgian Fourragere. Its home station was Fort Polk. The division is honored for those who gave their lives in the service of their country while serving in the Seventh Armored Division.
