Rincon Peak is a prominent summit in the Rincon Mountains of southern Arizona within Saguaro National Park. At 8,482 feet, it is the second-highest peak in both the park and the range, and the fourth-highest point in Pima County. Its steep rise above Paige Creek and Rincon Valley gives it notable topographic relief at the edge of the Sonoran Desert. Higher elevation brings cooler, wetter conditions that support pine and conifer forest, along with wildlife such as black bear, Mexican spotted owl, Arizona mountain kingsnake, and white-tailed deer. The peak is also a hiking destination reached by the Rincon Peak and Miller Creek trails.
