Haddam Meadows State Park is a 175-acre public recreation area on the west bank of the Connecticut River in Haddam, Connecticut. Created in 1944 through a land donation from the Edward W. Hazen Foundation and now managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, it is defined by its riverfront landscape. Trails pass through marsh, beach, sand bar, fern growths, meadow land, and hardwood forest, while picnicking areas, fishing access, and a boat launch support quiet outdoor use focused on the river and its natural surroundings.
