Bald Mountain is a summit in the Ramapo Mountains of northern New Jersey, in Bergen County just south of the New York state line. Rising to 1,152 feet, it is part of Ringwood State Park and reaches the highest elevation in Bergen County. Although not especially tall by broader Appalachian standards, it is a prominent local high point in the county’s rugged northern uplands.
