Arizona Hot Springs, also called Ringbolt Hot Springs, is a group of three geothermal springs near Hoover Dam on the Arizona side of the Colorado River in White Rock Canyon within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Hot mineral water emerges in the upper canyon at about 110 °F, then flows over a 25-foot waterfall and cools to roughly 95 °F before collecting in a gravel-bottomed rock soaking pool reached by ladder. Stabilized with sandbags and rocks, the pools have become a popular backcountry soaking destination. The usual access trail begins north of U.S. Highway 93, though summer closures protect visitors from extreme desert heat.
