Bridge Mountain, a peak in the Spring Mountains of southern Nevada within Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness, is distinguished by a sandstone natural arch near its summit that formed when an eroded tinaja left part of its side behind. Reached through rugged desert and escarpment country by several demanding approaches, the route crosses the range crest, overlooks the Red Rock Escarpment, and climbs steep chimneys, narrow rock passages, slickrock, and gullies to the bridge and summit. A hidden grove of ponderosa pine in the summit sandstone and views across the Las Vegas Valley make it especially distinctive.
