Fay Hyland Botanical Garden, also known as the Fay Hyland Arboretum, is a 10-acre botanical garden and arboretum on the University of Maine campus in Orono along the Stillwater River. Established in 1934 in honor of Fay Hyland, it was created as a living collection of woody plants. The garden includes plantings from Maine as well as species from other parts of the world, combining a strong regional emphasis with a wider botanical range. Open to the public daily, it serves as both a local landscape and a broader showcase of cultivated woody plants.
