Detterman Log Church is one of the last remaining original log churches in Ohio. It was built in 1848 in Adams Township, Seneca County, Ohio, and was used until 1875 as an Evangelical Association Church. Its builder, Adam Snyder, lived about a mile from the construction site. The forest was so dense that Adam was lost one day and circled around his house three times before finding the church.
