Built in 1917 and designed by local architect William R Powell, the Radnor School building was constructed under the direction of school board members W.P. Penry, Rees Jones, Wm Jones, Walter Baxter, and J.T. Lodwig. It served the community by housing both elementary and high school students, with 45 graduating high school classes before consolidation into the Buckeye Valley School District in 1963. When built, it was a very modern building with electric lighting, indoor plumbing, and up-to-date teaching facilities. In 1932, a gymnasium and additional classroom space doubled the building's size. The school building served the community's educational needs for 100 years until it was razed in 2016.
