The Ira Combs Memorial Church, also called Little Zion Church, was built in 1909 on land settled in 1790 by Mason Combs. Ira Combs, a grandson of Mason Combs, was a Civil War veteran born in 1844. In 1874 he began preaching, and for 60 years, without pay, he ministered to the Old Regular Baptists in the Pine Mt. section. He died in 1934 and was buried on the old homestead. The church was dedicated in his honor on Easter Sunday in 1952.
