Glorieta Baldy Lookout Tower is a historic fire lookout in the Santa Fe National Forest near La Cueva, New Mexico. Built in 1940, it served in the mountain forest-fire detection network east of Santa Fe. Its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 recognized its role in the history of forest management and fire surveillance. By September 2017, the tower was reported to be in disrepair, but restoration plans funded by Friends of the Santa Fe National Forest aimed to preserve it and incorporate it into the forest’s cabin rental program.
