Plymouth Town Hall, formerly the Grafton County Courthouse, was constructed in 1891. The building was entered into the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and was completely renovated in 1994. The bell that now hangs in the belfry above once hung in the earlier 1823 Courthouse. Its trademark reads "Henry N. Hooper & Co. Boston, 1849. No. 317." The Hooper & Co. foundry was purchased from Joseph Revere, the son of Paul Revere.
