Berrian Mountain is a 9,151-foot summit in Colorado’s Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, just north-northeast of Aspen Park and about 0.9 miles from the community. It is one of the mountain landmarks along the lower Front Range. Jefferson County Archives attributes the mountain’s name to George, Dan, Ray, and the wider Berrian family, who came from Kansas to Colorado in 1887. Before receiving that name, the peak may have been called McIntyre Mountain after Duncan McIntyre, who owned land on its east side where Midway House is located.
