In twenty four years service in the National League of Baseball as player and manager, Patrick Joseph Moran won his way to the greatest heights, winning a pennant for Philadelphia in 1916 and a league pennant for Cincinnati in 1919. As a player, as a manager, as a man he played the game according to the rules. Born in Fitchburg, Mass., Feb. 7, 1876, he died in Orlando, Fla., March 7, 1924.
