Exeter NH Folsom and Gilman Marker

John Folsom and his wife Mary Gilman, natives of Hingham, England, emigrated in 1638 and settled in Exeter in 1655 as progenitors of the American Folsoms. A stone erected by their descendants on land granted to Lieutenant Peter Folsom had once served as the door-rock to the home of minuteman James Folsom and was unveiled on September 30, 1918.
