New Goshenhoppen Reformed Church was organized as a congregation in 1727 with George Michael Weiss as its first pastor. Among Reformed churches in the U.S., it has the oldest existing register. Ancestors of Gov. John S. Fisher are among the many pioneer settlers buried in the first churchyard.
