Havasupai Trail is the main route to Supai, Arizona, and to Havasu Falls in northern Arizona. It is the principal maintained trail in an area where other routes, including the Topocoba, Moqui, and Kirby trails, are not maintained. That difference is significant because those alternate trails were described as early as 1976 as being in poor repair or as primitive and dangerous foot trails. Since using those routes requires special permission, Havasupai Trail serves as the standard access corridor to Supai and the falls.
