A white granite one-piece Cologne millstone from the Rhine valley came from the Fitzhugh Mill on Fitzhugh Run, north of Dulaney Valley Road near the Fishing Center and east of Jarrettsville Pike. It was found on watershed property of Elmer R. Haile, Jr. and relocated to Almshouse in 1983 by the Baltimore City Department of Public Works.
