Douglas Center Cemetery on the Old Boston and Hartford Turnpike is the burial place of forty six soldiers of the American Revolution. They endured hardship and death for freedom and independence. In 1922, the Capt. Job Knapp Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution erected it in their memory.
