Bush Head is a summit on the Paria Plateau in northern Arizona within Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. West of the Paria River and about ten miles southeast of Buckskin Gulch, it stands in a remote high-desert landscape of broad plateaus, cliffs, and canyon country. Its location within the national monument places it in one of the region’s protected scenic areas, reflecting the rugged terrain and striking desert setting that characterize this part of northern Arizona.
