Risser's Mill Covered Bridge, also known as Horst's Mill Covered Bridge, crossed Little Chickie's Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1872 by Elias McMellen, it was an 82-foot-long, 15-foot-wide covered bridge using a Burr arch truss design. Its historic significance was recognized with listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, but that designation ended when an arson fire destroyed the bridge on July 8, 2002. Although the arsonist was later arrested, the structure was entirely lost. By October 2006, a concrete bridge was under construction north of the site, and plans called for a replica on the original stone abutments.
