Buffalo Bill Dam and Visitor Center in Cody, Wyoming, was the tallest dam in the world in 1910. It was built from 1905 to 1910, modified from 1985 to 1993, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and designated a Civil Engineering Landmark in 1973.
