A living memorial grove of trees honors people from Morton Grove who gave their lives serving their country: John Lochner in the Civil War; Edward Baumhardt in World War I; Glen Brock, Warren Kawell, Clarence Lindemann, Wayne Mattson, Leonard Voss, Clarence Sesterhenn, Alling Norman, Raymond Noesen, and George Steuskal in World War II; James Barret in the Korean War; and William Noddin, James Novotny, Thomas Widerquist, Frank Walthers, Thomas Pilkington, Norman Miller, Robert Foreman, and Douglas Perz in the Vietnam War.
