Mount Watson is an 11,521-foot summit in northern Utah's western Uinta Mountains within Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Part of the Rocky Mountains, it rises in high forest and alpine terrain near the Mirror Lake Highway and forms a divide between two watersheds: its north side drains toward the Weber River, and its south side feeds the headwaters of the Provo River. The mountain stands out for its steep local relief, climbing about 1,700 feet above the Middle Fork Weber River in one mile. Named around 1900 and officially adopted in 1932, it is a subarctic backcountry destination with tundra on its highest slopes.
