On June 6, 2019, ground was broken for a memorial in Sugar Hill, and on November 11, 2019, it was dedicated by the City Council as a place honoring the men and women who have faithfully and honorably served in the Armed Forces of the United States and represented the City of Sugar Hill in service to the country. Visitors are invited to experience the space with quiet and solemn reflection, and the project also acknowledges contributions from the Sugar Hill City Council, Downtown Development Authority, Historic Preservation Society, Sugar Hill Business Alliance, Surfaces Group, and Precision Planning Inc.
