Dedicated to all who served their country, this memorial especially remembers PFC. Dyer J. Bird of Co. D, 166th Inft., born in 1900 and killed in 1918 as the first soldier killed in the Rainbow Div. during W.W. I; he was interred in France at Meuse-Argonne Cemetery. It was erected by Broadway Centennial, 1865-1965.
