Blanchester Veterans' Memorial Park is dedicated in memory of the men and women who served their country in both war and peace through Marion Post 179 American Legion, marking 50 years of service to God and Country from October 7, 1919 to October 7, 1969, and includes a memorial constructed by Richard M. Marsh in memory of his son, Cpl. Richard A. Marsh, who was killed in action in Viet Nam on March 10, 1968.
