Sgt. Carlton Alan Clark, born August 24, 1983, served with the 2nd Brigade Troop Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division Air Assault, U.S. Army, and was killed in action in Baghdad on August 6, 2006, while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Army Commendation Medal with Valor, and the Bronze Star. He is remembered along with all who have served in defense of the country, its freedom, and its way of life.
