Malone Springs is a spring and watershed in southern Oregon's Fremont-Winema National Forest, about 25 miles northwest of Klamath Falls on Oregon Route 140. It serves as a principal gateway to the marshes on the western edge of the Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge and to the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail, a 9.5-mile route through broad wetlands. The spring feeds a 15,000-acre marsh and wetland complex, with nearby camping, boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, and an unimproved boat launch. The area is notable for the meeting of marsh and forest, where shoreline trees and wetlands support nesting bald eagles, osprey, and migrating birds.
