Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge is a protected freshwater marsh on the shore of Upper Klamath Lake in southwestern Oregon. Established in 1928, it encompasses about 14,400 acres and is part of the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The refuge is unusual in being accessible only by boat, with entry from Rocky Point Resort, the Rocky Point boat launch, Malone Springs, and a few nearby ramps. Administered from shared offices in Tulelake, California, it remains a largely water-based landscape whose significance lies in its extensive wetlands and protected marsh habitat.
