Bethany Town Hall was built in 1832 and over the years was used as a church, academy, and Town House. It is dedicated to those of the Town of Bethany who gave their lives in World War II: John R. Despard, MMM 2/C; Leonard E. Fuller, 1st. Lt.; Clifford L. Hale, Pvt.; George T. Hill, Air Cadet; Eldred E. Kellogg, Capt.; and James C. Nichols, P.F.C.
