In Le Roy, New York, the Jell-O Gallery preserves the history, advertising, and memorabilia of Jell-O in the only surviving building of the former Union Free School. The site began as a school campus in the 1860s, later passed to the Le Roy Historical Society in 1945, and the remaining stone school building was renovated in 1996 after a temporary Jell-O exhibition drew lasting interest. A permanent museum followed in 1998, with collections ranging from advertising art and early 1900s oil paintings to toys, boxes, and recipe books. The building also includes vehicle exhibits, a research library, and resources for genealogy and local history.
