Ski Apache is a ski resort in southern New Mexico on the slopes of the Sierra Blanca mountains, owned and operated by the Mescalero Apache Tribe since 1963. Its terrain ranges from broad intermediate runs to steep advanced descents, including Apache Bowl, Capitan, the Gondola Liftline, and the unusually challenging beginner area called Snow Park. The resort has eight lifts, including New Mexico’s only true gondola serving ski runs. Averaging 15 feet of snowfall annually, it is also known for three zip lines, including a one-mile line that begins at 11,500 feet.
