Stroud Mansion was built as a community house by Jacob Stroud in 1795 and was the home of Daniel Stroud. It later served the Civic Club of Stroudsburg, the Monroe County Historical Society, the Jacob Stroud Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Public Library.
