Olin's Covered Bridge in Plymouth Township east of Ashtabula carries Dewey Road over the Ashtabula River and remains one of the county's drivable covered bridges. Built in 1873 as a single-span Town truss, a wooden lattice design common in the 19th century, it is 115 feet long with 12 feet of overhead clearance. Renovated in 1985, it has been preserved within Ashtabula County's notable concentration of covered bridges. Its distinctive name reflects the Olin family's long connection to the site, from their arrival in the area in 1832 and land purchase beside the future bridge site in 1860 to later stewardship nearby.
