Loveday Springs, built circa 1826, was the main stagecoach stop between Knoxville and Sevierville and was operated by the Loveday family until 1903, when state Senator A.J. Graves purchased it. In 1932, the Greek Revival house was sold to Ben Bower, owner of Camel Manufacturing and Bower Department stores, who lived there until 1971. He sold it to Charles and Marjorie Hobbs, who then developed Holly Hills Cemetery on the property.
