Beauty Mountain Wilderness is a protected area in Riverside County, California, preserving 15,628 acres of rugged mountainous terrain managed by the Bureau of Land Management through its Palm Springs–South Coast Field Office. The Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 formally designated it as wilderness, permanently protecting land already under federal stewardship. Like other federally designated wilderness areas, it prohibits motorized vehicles. Camping is allowed for up to 14 days, after which campers must relocate at least 25 miles from their previous site, and pets are permitted if kept under control.
